Artists - in - Schools

Mr. Mario Tejada is a bilingual Artist with a passion to teach. His lessons encourage students to study the concepts of art. They will learn color, shape, and composition through mixed media. His sessions include lessons that promote creativity and risk taking. Tempera Paint and pastel medias are his favorite lessons to teach, always encouraging students to use their imaginations. A veteran with our program, he is booking a year in advance. Mr. Mario always has a waiting list. In 2022 he celebrated 20 years with our program. Be sure to add your name to his waiting list by submitting your AIS request in January for the following school year. Creating, Presenting, Responding, and Connecting are his specialty.

 Look for his  "Passport to the Arts" sessions to include works from El Salvador, France, and the USA.
